Pimpri Chinchwad: Nagpur man asks for directions; youth steals beats him up, steals mobile

Pune: A 29-year-old man from Nagpur was allegedly beaten up and his mobile stolen by a youth after the former stopped his bike and asked directions. The incident took place in Nigdi on Friday (January 8).

The suspect has been identified as Nitin Gangadhar Mane (24), a resident of Talawade. He has been arrested by Nigdi police.

Mane has been booked under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code. A complaint has been filed against him by Rahul Chandrashekhar Shinde (29), a resident of Nagpur city.
