CBSE Exams 2021: Class 10, 12 Board exams likely to be held in February-March

New Delhi: Amid COVID-19 outbreak, big announcements are expected on Thursday regarding CBSE 10th and 12th exam dates 2021, JEE Main 2021, NEET 2021 and other state board exams for the next year.

Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokriyal ‘Nishank’ will address questions of students who are either preparing for board exams or competitive exams.

Talking to a leading portal, a top official from the board declared that as of now the board has no plans to delay the board exam for next year.

He also said that the CBSE Class 10 and 12 exams will be held in February-March like every year. He further said that there is an option that students will get more gap days between their examinations than last year due to the main COVID situation and academic loss.

Talking about the practical examinations, he hoped that state governments will soon reopen schools and students will get time to prepare for the examinations.

TOI quoted him as saying “Usually, schools get around 1.5 months. This year, they may get more than two months to conduct practical exams and complete all formalities while keeping COVID-19 guidelines in mind.”
