The total tally of Covid-19 cases in Mumbai has climbed to 2.69 lakh cases. The city saw 756 recoveries as of last week, more than the number of fresh cases, and the recovery rate continued to be around 90 per cent.
Dr Avinash Supe, executive director of Hinduja Hospital, speaking about the the cumulative national average is 1.46 per cent and the state average 2.62 per cent. “Last week Mumbai recorded less than the state average at 1.97 per cent and was just a little above the national average.”
