Pakistan: Bomb blast in madrasa in Peshawar; 7 killed, 70 injured
New Delhi : There has been a bomb blast in Peshawar, Pakistan, in which about seven people have died and 70 people are reported injured. Pakistan Police have given information about this blast. Police said a bomb exploded in a madrasa in Dir Colony in Peshawar, killing seven people.

Pakistani media has given the information quoting Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police chief Sanaullah Abbasi and hospital officials. Police of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa said that preliminary investigation shows that the conspiracy has been carried out by placing a time bomb in a bag.
An official of Lady Reading Hospital informed that so far seven bodies have been recovered and 70 people have been injured in the incident. According to Relief Rescue 1122, the injured have been admitted to Lady Reading Hospital and the condition of the injured children is stated to be critical. Police and relief rescue teams have reached the spot and rescue operations have been started.
At the time when the bomb blast took place, classes at the religious school were postponed and there were more children and instructors among the dead.
