Google Play Store Removes 34 Malware Infected Apps With ‘Joker’ Malicious Virus

Mumbai : Google has removed 34 apps between July and September from the play store, in which joker malware was found. Joker is a dangerous virus that has affected many apps for the past few months. The moment Google finds out that the app is affected, it is deleting them from the Play Store. This clown malware is a kind of malicious bot, which has been categorized as fleeceware.

This malware misleads users by showing click option on fake SMS, it subscribes users to unsolicited premium paid service from users’ account. The user has no information about it. These spyware are designed to steal SMS messages, contact lists and phone information.

This malware allows the user to secretly sign-up for the premium wireless application protocol WAP service.

Google has identified them as ‘Bread’ (Joker), a large-scale billing fraud group in 2017 that identifies apps that are designed only for SMS fraud. These apps are extremely dangerous for your phone’s data, so we recommend that you delete them immediately.
