Delhi Violence : Umar Khalid Arrested Under UAPA, Allege Role in Riots ‘Conspiracy’
New Delhi : Delhi Police Special Cell has made another arrest in the Delhi violence case. Now the Special Cell has taken action and arrested Umar Khalid. Umar Khalid has been arrested under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).
Delhi Police Special Cell arrested Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) alumnus Omar Khalid in Delhi violence case. Umar Khalid has been arrested under the UAPA. According to sources, Umar Khalid was summoned and called for questioning. Omar Khalid has been arrested after several hours of questioning.

At the same time, after the arrest of Umar Khalid, the United Against Hate Group has issued a statement. United Against Hate has said, ‘After 11 hours of inquiry, Delhi Police Special Cell has arrested Umar Khalid as a conspirator in the Delhi violence case. Delhi Police is increasing criminal protests under the guise of investigating violence.

The Special Cell is investigating the conspiracy of Delhi violence. Special cell has also questioned Umar Khalid before. The special cell has also asked Umar Khalid about his speech given before US President Donald Trump’s visit to India.
