India’s Lunar Mission Chandrayaan-3 Launch May Take Place In Early 2021
New Delhi : India’s Chandrayaan-3 may be launched early next year. Union Minister Jitendra Singh gave this information on Sunday. He told that Chandrayaan-3 will not have an orbiter, only the lander and rover will be part of it.
The Union Minister said that Chandrayaan-1, launched in 2008, was ISRO’s first lunar mission. It gave important evidence to the world about water on the moon. Data from Chandrayaan-1 indicated that there is water at the poles of the moon. Today scientists from all over the world are doing research on it. He said that India is also preparing for its first manned space mission Gaganyaan. Training and other procedures are being done for this. Due to the COVID-19, there have been some problems in this, but the whole effort is that it should be completed till 2022 as per the predetermined deadline.
