Shekhar Kapur On Sushant’s Suicide- ‘I Knew Your Pain, I Know Who Was Responsible’

Mumbai: Sushant Singh Rajput’s death has left many unresolved questions behind. All the Bollywood world, including actors, directors, is sad over Sushant’s death. Everyone is giving their own reaction. Actor-director Shekhar Kapur also expressed his sorrow over Sushant’s death. He has tweeted that the actor’s suicide is very painful.

Shekhar Kapur tweeted- ‘I realized the pain you were going through. I know the story of people who made you weak and because of which you used to shed tears on my shoulder. I wish I was with you in the last 6 months. I wish you had talked to me, whatever happened was someone else’s deeds, not yours’. This post of Shekhar is pointing to many things. As discussed, Sushant was frustrated by the industry’s top directors for not giving him work. It is also discussed that Sushant’s work with some big banners was banned. Although no one has proof of how true these things are.

Shekhar Kapoor and Sushant Singh Rajput were to work together in the film ‘Pani’. The film was also announced at the Cannes Film Festival, but due to the pull of the Yash Raj banner, the film somehow didn’t shoot. There were reports that Shekhar wanted to make this film with Hrithik Roshan but due to Ashutosh Gowariker’s Mohenjodaro, Hrithik could not become a part of this project. Apart from this, Shekhar wanted to cast a Hollywood star in this film, but finally, he selected Sushant Singh Rajput.

Shekhar Kapur also said that Sushant had worked hard for this project. And when Yash Raj refused to make this film, he was very disappointed.

After the death of Sushant, people are now trolling celebs like Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt. People are saying that Sushant was not a star kid, so he is facing nepotism in the industry.
