Delhi Violence : Shahrukh who Pointed Pistol on Police Constable Deepak Dahiya, Arrested
New Delhi: During the violence in Delhi, Shahrukh, accused of pointing pistol and firing at the police, has been arrested by the police. According to information, Shahrukh has been arrested by the Crime Branch team of Delhi Police. Shahrukh is arrested from Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh. Shahrukh is accused of firing from a pistol during the violence on 24 February in Delhi and also pointed a gun on Delhi Police head constable Deepak Dahiya.
Shahrukh was earlier reported to have been arrested, but it was later revealed that he was still absconding. But according to the latest information, the crime branch team of Delhi Police has arrested Shahrukh from Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh.
In the Delhi violence case, 10 teams of Special Cell of Delhi Police were raiding many cities in search of Shahrukh. On Monday, it was reported that Shahrukh had reached Panipat after firing in Maujpur. This information was received by the special cell from his mobile phone call details. Since then, Shahrukh has been hiding in different cities of western Uttar Pradesh. In which Special Cell was informed about his presence in Kairana, Amroha. On Monday evening, it was reported that Shahrukh is hiding in Bareilly.
Delhi Police has registered 369 FIRs related to the riots in North-East Delhi. In the Arms Act, 44 FIRs have been registered and 1284 people have been arrested and detained in the riots. Delhi Police gave its information on Monday. The Cyber Cell of Delhi Police has also registered 21 FIRs in the Delhi violence case.
The crime branch of Delhi Police will investigate 47 cases of murder registered after the violence in North East Delhi. Sources have given this information on Monday. Sources said that some cases have already been handed over to the crime branch while the remaining cases will be transferred on Tuesday or Wednesday. The police department is facing difficulties in investigation due to the difficulty in detecting eyewitnesses.
