Budget 2020 Effects : Increased Prices of ‘These’ Things, See the Complete List ‘Here’

New Delhi: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the budget for the financial year 2020-21 on February 1. In the budget, many big announcements have been made, including income tax slab to increasing bank deposit insurance to Rs. 5 lakh. However, there were some announcements in the budget that would make everyday things expensive and some cheaper. The government has proposed to increase the tax on imported goods in the Budget 2020. At the same time, duty cuts have been announced on some items. This will make mobile equipment, cigarettes, tobacco, edible oil, fans, shoes, slippers expensive, while some items like sports goods, microphones and electric vehicles will be cheaper. These kitchen related things will be expensive

Ghee, butter, edible oil, cheese, buttermilk, corn, sugar, preserved potatoes, chewing gum, dietary soy fibre, isolated soy protein, walnuts will be expensive.

Tableware, kitchenware, water filters, glassware, ceramic household items, coffee and tea making machines, toasters, food grinders, ovens, cookers, cooking plates, boiling rings, grillers and roasters, hand sieve will be expensive.

Makeup Products / Accessories will be Costly

Comb, hairpin, curling pin, curling grip, hair curler, hairdryer, shavers, hair clippers, hair-removing equipment and electric iron will be expensive.

Lifestyle items expensive

Furniture, lamps and lighting fittings, table fan, ceiling fan, pedestal fan, portable blower, water heater, immersion heater, electro-thermic fluid heater, insecticide equipment, compressor, locks will be expensive.

Gems and Jewelry will be expensive

Rubies, emeralds, sapphires and other precious gems.

Other Items-

Toys, stationery items, artificial flowers, bells, trophies, printed circuit board assemblies of mobile phones, display panels and touch assemblies, fingerprint readers, cigarettes, hookahs, chewing tobacco, flavoured zarda.

These items will be cheap

The government has proposed to reduce the customs duty on the import of certain items. Because of this, these goods will be cheap.

Pure-bread breeding horse, newsprint paper, sporting goods, microphone, electric vehicle, plastic and chemical, raw sugar.
