2-year-old girl dies after falling into water tank

Pune :  NpNews24 Online  – Pune Crime | A 2-year-old girl died after falling into a water tank on the premises of a cement pipe manufacturing factory in Jambhulwadi, Pune. (Pune Crime)

In this case, Vimal Kumar Shivshankarlal Gautam (26) from Jambhulwadi has lodged a complaint at the Bharati Vidyapeeth Police Station. Accordingly, a case has been filed against Ashraf Ali Khan from Warje. The incident took place at AKRCC company near Dari bridge at Jambhulwadi at 12 noon on December 31.

According to the police, a large underground tank of water has been made to soak the pipes after making them on the premises of AKRCC company. No security arrangements were made to prevent anyone from going near the tank. Surbhi (2), the daughter of the complainant, who lives on the factory premises, fell into this water tank. She was immediately rescued and admitted to the hospital. However, she died during the treatment.
