18-yr-old strangles his mother to death as she reprimands him for his mobile phone addiction

Pune : NpNews24 Online  – Pune Crime News | A shocking case has come to light that a Std 12 student pushed his mother against the wall and strangled her to death after his mother shouted at him for looking at the mobile phone while studying. (Pune Crime News)

The deceased woman has been identified as Tasleem Zameer Sheikh (37) from Uruli Kanchan and the Loni Kalbhor Police have arrested Jishan Zameer Sheikh (18).

PSI Amol Laxmanrao Ghodke lodged a complaint at the Loni Kalbhor Police Station. The incident took place at Mauli Kripa building in Uruli Kanchan at 3.30 pm on February 15.

According to the police, Loni Kalbhor police received a tip-off that Tasleem Sheikh had committed suicide by hanging herself. Accordingly, the police sent the body to the Sassoon Hospital for autopsy. As the doctors became suspicious, an autopsy was conducted there under the supervision of three doctors. The doctors gave the preliminary report that she died due to strangulation and head injuries. The police inquired. No one was ready to give details. Father Zameer and son Jishan were the only two present when the incident took place. On independent inquiry with them, the boy narrated the incident.

Zameer Shaikh had gone to offer namaz. His younger daughter had gone out. Son Jishan is in Std 12. He was sitting looking at his mobile phone while studying. His mother Taslim got angry and she slapped Jishan. Jishan pushed his mother against the wall and strangled her. She died. Jishan was scared to see his mother unconscious. He cut her wrist with the blade. But since she was dead, blood did not come out. He hooked the wire to a fan. He kept mother’s body below on the floor. After some time, when Zameer Sheikh came, he told that she hanged herself to death. He brought her down. They took Tasleem to a nearby hospital. The doctor there got suspicious and asked to take the body to Sassoon hospital. The autopsy revealed the murder.

A complaint has been lodged on behalf of the police. The youngster has been arrested. PI Kale is investigating.
