15-year-old out of chilling cold, sits inside oven; gets trapped and dies

NP NEWS 24 ONLINE- In an unfortunate incident, a 15-year-old boy who accidentally got trapped inside an oven who sat there to get relief from the chilling cold and died.

The 15-year-old named Deepak unable to bear the cold, went to sit inside in the oven of his father’s biscuit factory in the basement of their home after which the door got shut accidentally and he got trapped which led to his death. Such information was given by the superintendent of police, P Singh.

The incident took place in Uttar Pradesh. He also said that the deceased’s family members were not aware of he being trapped and rushed towards the factory after a bad odour. To their surprise, he was found lying on the ground.

His family members rushed him to a local community health centre but it was too late by then as the doctors declared him dead.

Usually, the temperature of heat inside a factory’s oven is very high and varies from 174, 180 and 186 degree Celsius and consists of long conveyors which carry the dough pieces through a heated box section baking chamber. Oven lengths vary typically between 25 m and 100 m long.

The deceased’s body has been sent for post-mortem said the SP. And, the police is still probing into the case as to get into the depth of the case and find out the door accidentally got shut or was it done deliberately.

According to information, this tragic death has left his family members in utter shock and surprise as they are unable to believe that their child is not alive anymore.

But, the question still remains unanswered as to what were his family members doing during the time of the incident and why weren’t they aware of him sitting inside the oven.
